Responsibilities
Tasks
• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the daily operations of one or multiple restaurant locations.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and service standards across franchise locations.
• Monitor sales performance, labour costs, food costs and profitability, and take corrective actions when required.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate restaurant managers, supervisors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with franchise standards, company policies, health regulations and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate inventory management, purchasing and supplier relationships to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Analyze operational reports and prepare recommendations to improve efficiency, customer service and profitability.
• Address customer complaints and resolve operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands.
• Conduct regular inspections of restaurant facilities to ensure cleanliness, maintenance and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with franchise owners and senior management to implement business strategies and achieve performance targets.
• Monitor marketing and promotional activities to increase customer traffic and sales.
• Review financial statements, budgets and forecasts, and implement cost-control measures.
• Ensure compliance with employment standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives and support the opening, transition or expansion of franchise locations.
