Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves educating children, developing lesson plans, and ensuring the overall well-being of students in a classroom setting.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of children.
Educate children in various subjects, including language, math, science, and social skills.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Manage classroom activities and maintain an organized learning environment.
Utilize time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special needs or disabilities.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred, or ELC-1, 2, or 3.
Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work with children with disabilities and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
Proficiency in computer use for administrative tasks and lesson planning.
A passion for educating young children and fostering their development.
Time management skills to ensure efficient use of instructional time.
